Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again travelled through Canadian airspace. This time, twice in the same day. Yesterday, September 24, the “Wing of Zion” aircraft (a Boeing 767-338ER owned by the Israeli Air Force and registered as 4X-ISR) travelled through Canadian sovereign air space both on its way to New York and its way back to Tel Aviv.

This despite Netanyahu facing an international arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for war crimes, and Prime Minister Carney saying in October 2025 that Netanyahu would be arrested if he entered Canada.

Meanwhile as Netanyahu spoke at the United Nations General Assembly, Canada remained in its seat. Not only were other delegations absent, they left in a mass exit as Netanyahu began to speak. As the Guardian reported Netanyahu pledged to “finish the job” in Gaza while delegations were leaving in protest. Shame on Canada, and Ambassador Lametti.

Shame on Canada for allowing Netanyahu to again fly over Canada, and for not joining the conscious majority that left the UN General Assembly.

Email the Prime Minister and ministers responsible to let them know that we are watching. This is the third trip to the US in recent months Canada has allowed Netanyahu, a wanted war criminal to enter Canadian airspace.
