NJ Leaders: Stop Dumping On Newark!

The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC) still plans to construct a dirty, deadly gas plant at its waste treatment facility in Newark, making it the 4th such plant in a city already facing severe air quality issues, where 1 in 4 children suffers from asthma.  Waterspirit, as you may know, has been speaking out and organizing in opposition to this for almost for years, and there is widespread support from elected leaders and health professionals for preventing this unnecessary project.

We must voice our concerns to the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, which is currently accepting public comments on a permit for this facility. We need to make it clear that we join Newark residents and all those across the state in acting against this harmful project.

Please feel free to use this letter to submit your comment to NJDEP, a copy will also be sent to Governor Murphy.
