No Ghost Guns In DE

HB 277, aims to ban the sale, transfer, or production of so called “ghost guns” in Delaware.

Anyone found in possession of an unfinished firearm frame or receiver without a serial number will be found guilty of a class D felony. This legislation also goes after 3D printed guns as well, as these weapons are often made with polymer that is undetectable by traditional security measures used at public venues and untraceable by law enforcement. Those found in possession of these types of weapons will be found guilty of a class E felony, but if they are found manufacturing these devises it is a class D felony. Finally, this bill goes after those who are distributing the plans needed for others to produce 3D printed firearms and their related parts.
