No platform for Israeli soldiers: Demand the cancellation of a Toronto event for ‘lone soldiers’ who fought in Gaza in the last year

Take action right now to demand immediate and principled action against “Triggered, the Tour: from Combat to Campus.” This tour hosts Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers during an active genocide in Gaza, celebrating violence and platforming war criminals – and will do all of this from within a local Toronto synagogue. None of this is acceptable in our city. As your neighbours, community members, and constituents, we demand our elected reps and the event host take immediate action to cancel and condemn this event, scheduled for this Thursday, April 3rd at The Lodzer Centre in Toronto.

Canada is legally obliged to investigate and prosecute Canadians who commit war crimes.

We call on PM Carney and Minister Joly to investigate these soldiers based on the strong likelihood of their complicity in war crimes.

The Lodzer Synagogue should be the first to denounce genocidal violence, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement—after all, it was founded by Holocaust survivors from Łódź, Poland.

We urge the Lodzer Synagogue to cancel the event and refuse to provide a platform for war criminals or their supporters.
