NY Gov Hochul and PSC: Stop National Grid’s NESE Pipeline

This letter will be delivered directly to Governor Hochul's Executive Chambers and the Public Service Commission (utility regulators and watchdogs) Office in Albany, NY. *You must be a New York State resident to send this letter to the Governor.

Why your voice matters:

Right now, Governor Hochul and the PSC are deciding whether to let National Grid push through a long-term gas plan and revive the Williams NESE pipeline. Both would lock New Yorkers into decades of higher bills and more fossil fuels, at the exact moment we need to be moving toward cleaner, more affordable energy. Even worse, there is no gas shortage.

National Grid’s real plan is to make gas ratepayers foot the bill for expensive new infrastructure so the company can sell gas to the wholesale electricity market for profit.

That means higher costs for us, and no real benefit for reliability or affordability. When everyday New Yorkers speak up, it shows our leaders that communities, not corporations, are watching and demanding better. That’s why it’s so important for you to add your name to this letter.
