Ohio Needs to Rejoin MIPRC

The Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission (MIPRC) brings together state leaders from across the region on a bipartisan basis to advocate for passenger rail improvements. In order for Ohioans with disabilities to have access to a fully accessible multimodal transit system in Ohio, the state of Ohio must be a part of the regional planning process.

MIPRC is the managing entity for the FRA/Amtrak Midwest Regional Rail plan. Ohio not being a member means that decisions are being made about passenger rail passing through our state without our voice at the table. This includes the input of Ohioans with disabilities.

Please support Ohioans with disabilities by sending a letter to Representative Williams, Representative Swearingen, and Representative Merrin, by Friday, January 19th expressing the importance of MIPRC- Ohio involvement.
