The company behind the proposed warehouse project has continued to engage with the residents of Chesterfield without any challenge from the Township regarding their claims.
This is a self-made problem because Three Putt could not, or would not, put the capital investment into the property to keep it running. To allow this to continue would send a message that any commercial entity in Chesterfield could neglect its property and then claim the area is blighted to reap the financial benefits. If Three Putt is not going to rehabilitate existing buildings, the area in need of rehabilitation designation no longer applies and should be rescinded.
