Protect East Potomac Park. Oppose BAAJA.
A federal judge has already stepped in more than once to stop the administration’s unlawful actions at East Potomac Park. That only worked because courts still have real power to check federal agencies, and because the public still has a real voice in these decisions.
A bill in the Senate right now, BAAJA, would take both away. It lets agencies decide on their own that historic preservation doesn’t matter, strips courts of the ability to stop them, and cuts the public out of a process that’s supposed to include us.
The Senate votes November 9. Tell your senators to stop it, before it’s too late for this park, or the next one.
