DSA SF is organizing opposition to Daniel Lurie’s two-hour restriction on RV parking, which has been passed by the SF Municipal Transit Agency and will be up for a vote by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 15. This ban is just the latest attempt by San Francisco’s oligarch Mayor to exile poor and working class people from the City. It comes on the heels of a budgeting process where Mayor Lurie tried to cut eviction defense funding and redirected money from homelessness prevention services to large-scale, congregate shelters. The real goal is clear: reducing visible poverty, no matter who it hurts.
