Pass the Expanded Child Tax Credit

The expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC) has been stuck in the Senate since January, when the House passed it with an overwhelming bipartisan majority. Time is running out for the Senate to pass a bipartisan tax package ahead of Tax Day April 15th.

The expanded CTC would help 16 million children in low-income families and this modest effort would go a long way for children in poverty and struggling families.

Urging Senators to take action NOW is critical as legislative opportunities after April diminish prospects for passing a bill this year.
