Everyone in Redmond deserves stability and fairness–and that includes renters who are now approaching 2 / 3 of Redmond households. Please pass the Redmond Renters Bill of Rights promptly. Let’s work together to limit junk fees; extend eviction protections to renters on leases when leases end; make it easier for renters on leases to move out if they get notice of a significant rent increase; and ban retaliation by landlords against renters who use their rights.
