CONGRESS: Get Single-Use Plastic OUT Of Our National Parks

Ask Congress to Get Single-Use Plastics OUT Of Our National Parks

The bad news: Single-use plastic is one of the biggest sources of trash and litter in our beautiful national parks where it lingers for hundreds of years, threatening the health of wildlife, ecosystems, waterways, and humans, and hastening climate change.

The good news: this is a problem we can fix. The Reducing Waste in National Parks Act (S.2960/HR 5533) would eliminate the sale and distribution of single-use plastic beverage bottles, bags, foodware — including cups, plates, bowls, and utensils — and foam products inside national parks.

Fill out the form to send an email to your Senator and your Representative urging them to pass this bill ASAP.
