Write a letter to STOP logging in Myles Standish State Forest
Please write a letter to elected representatives and public officials today to ask them to STOP state-sponsored logging in our State Forest and wildlife areas!
The ongoing logging in Myles Standish State Forest and surrounding Wildlife Management Areas threatens critical habitats, including those of endangered species, and undermines the natural systems that support biodiversity and climate resilience. It also disrupts the ancestral lands of the Wampanoag people, erasing cultural history and rights, and removes valued recreational spaces used by residents for hunting, hiking, biking, and well-being.
