Sierra Gardens will bring 87 affordable homes to Walnut Creek—homes for teachers, nurses, service workers, and others who work in Walnut Creek but can't afford to live there. The project is requesting standard density bonuses and modest waivers, but it's getting pushback because it'll be taller than the surrounding neighborhood. Planning commissioners need to hear from community members that we support this development!
