🚧 Dangerous Hillside Development Could Shut Down PCH — Take Action Before May 27!

Developers are trying to build four mega-mansions — each over 10,000 square feet — right on top of an active landslide above PCH in Pacific Palisades. And the City of LA is letting them skip the required Site-Specific Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that would actually assess the real risks. Instead, they’re using a generic Housing Element EIR — a legal shortcut that doesn’t account for unstable ground, failing roads, or fire evacuation.
This area is in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, and the January fire already damaged our only evacuation routes. The Tramonto Bulkhead burned and is unstable, and Porto Marina is still closed. If another landslide hits and PCH is shut down — how will we get out?
Let’s stop this before it’s too late. We’re asking the PLUM Committee to do the right thing and require a full Site-Specific EIR. Here’s why it matters:
đźš« No safety studies confirm it's safe to build or even rebuild
🔥 Our only exits are damaged — and the next fire could be deadly
⚠️ PCH carries 47,000+ cars/day — another slide could trap us all
Share this with neighbors, friends, and anyone who drives PCH. Safety has to come first.
