Your taxes are going UP because Durham Regional Councillors are being RECKLESS with our vanishing local farmland and natural assets. We must STOP the urbanization of 9000 acres of new land that is not needed for affordable housing and to meet our growth targets.

Please write Honourable Paul Calandra, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and ask that in light of the escalating property tax and user rate implications and ongoing affordability challenges, that he does not approve the 9000-acre Settlement Area Boundary Expansion (SABE) expansion as set out in the Durham Region Official Plan.
