Protect Loudoun Families: End the 287(g) Agreement
287(g) is tearing Loudoun families apart. Under Sheriff Mike Chapman’s leadership, nearly 250 immigrants have been handed over to ICE since summer 2024. This voluntary agreement between the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and ICE uses local resources to carry out a mass deportation agenda, making immigrant communities live in fear and putting all of us at risk. Instead of investing in housing, education, and safety, Loudoun is using local tax dollars to fund federal immigration enforcement.
As Loudoun residents, we demand that the Sheriff stop using local tax dollars to advance Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda and instead work to ensure that all Loudoun residents feel safe in their community, regardless of race, class, zip code, or country of origin. Take action NOW: Demand Sheriff Chapman end all ICE collaboration and stop discriminatory policing practices.
