I am a worried resident who is concerned about the hazardous waste facility Phibro-Tech in Santa Fe Springs’ Los Nietos neighborhood. I write to urge you to deny Phibro-Tech’s permit renewal, as it has had a history of violating hazardous waste laws and harming workers. I believe that reckless, polluting facilities like Phibro-Tech should NOT be allowed to violate laws and continue to contaminate our community.

Phibro-Tech is one of California’s largest hazardous waste treatment and recycling facilities that has been operating with an expired permit from DTSC since 1996.
