Protect the land and our collective future: Respect tribal consent
For centuries the federal government has broken promises and issued take-it-or-leave-it ultimatums to tribal communities. Dams, oil pipelines, copper mines, and other large-scale development projects have moved ahead without the consent of affected Tribal Nations or communities.
Native Nations must be a part of the decision-making process. No more projects that degrade, destroy, or desecrate sacred lands and waters.
Call on the United States government to support the RESPECT Act for the benefit of Tribal Nations, and in the context of the climate and extinction crises, all of us.
