We thought we overcame this bad bill, but after going down in committee it has been resurrected and reassigned... We need your help to protect Medicaid and defeat this dangerous legislation once and for all.

SB 172 would fundamentally restructure Medicaid in Utah in several harmful ways. The less than 4-page bill instructs the Utah Department of Health to do six complicated things with very little detail or instruction, including: implementing work requirements, requesting a per capita block grant, and creating a “prioritized list” of rationed care.

Please contact your Representative in the Utah House today and ask them to oppose drastic changes to Medicaid.
