Protest Roger Waters Concert at the London Palladium

The UK's Jewish community is once again having to come together to raise its voice against the hate speech and antisemitism of renowned musician Roger Waters. Waters is scheduled to perform on October 8 and 9 at London's prestigious Palladium Theatre, where he plans to debut re-recordings of Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of The Moon.'

While we respect an artist's freedom of expression, we are deeply concerned about Mr. Waters' history of promoting antisemitic rhetoric during his performances. This includes spreading hateful conspiracy theories, trivialising the Holocaust, and using antisemitic visuals. Offstage, Mr. Waters participates in events supporting the destruction of Israel, often with the sponsorship of antisemitic groups.

We find it troubling that such a well-respected venue as the London Palladium is providing a platform for someone known for promoting hate speech. By hosting Mr. Waters, it inadvertently legitimises antisemitic views.

Mr. Waters’ extensive history of making antisemitic comments, in his own words, was laid-out in an exposé by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) that can be found here: https://antisemitism.org/rogerwaters/

Our campaign aims to raise awareness about the concerns shared by many, including Members of Parliament. We urge LW Theatres to reconsider hosting this event and take a stand against hate. While we understand that cancelling the show may be unlikely, we firmly believe that LW Theatres should publicly condemn Mr. Waters' ongoing antisemitism. This would reassure the UK's Jewish community that our concerns are heard and respected.

Join us in standing against hate, promoting understanding, and ensuring that hate speech finds no home in our society. Together, we can send a powerful message against antisemitism in all its forms. Thank you for your support.

Sending a letter to LW Theatres is easy and takes just 30 seconds. Put your name in the box >>> click START WRITING >> click SEND LETTER >> Done !!
