Raise the Minimum Wage RI

Raise the Wage—Raise Up Rhode Island!

Working people in Rhode Island are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living. A recent Rhode Island Standard of Need report shows that even a full-time job at the current minimum wage isn't enough to afford basic necessities like rent, childcare, food, and transportation. That’s why we’re calling on all Rhode Islanders to join us in urging our state representatives and senators to raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour over the next five years.

Everyone deserves fair pay for a hard day’s work. Raising the wage means more dignity for workers, stronger families, and a healthier local economy. The Rhode Island AFL-CIO stands in strong support of this campaign—and your voice can help make it happen.

Send a message to your representatives today. Together, we can lift up Rhode Island’s working families.
