Raise your voice and ask House P&E committee members to vote "yes" on campaign finance bills

Hi Friends, It's General Assembly time. Let's finally get some common sense campaign finance bills out of the House P&E committee.

How, you ask? Let's all take easy action. In one minute you can ask all of the members of the House P&E to enact comprehensive campaign finance reform by passing the following bills.   Now we are ranked 46 out of 50 states on the Coalition for Integrity's SWAMP Index which measures transparency and accountability to voters. You can change that.

The committee will be reviewing within the next few weeks the following common sense bills:

  • Personal Use: HB2165 (Del. Cole) and HB1686 (Del. Convirs-Fowler)- Restricting the personal use of campaign funds;
  • Information Portal: HB2140 - (Del. Krizek) Investing in an improved information portal for filing campaign finance disclosures with the Department of Elections;
  • Disclosure HB2173 (Del. Clark) HB2670 (Del. Sickles) - Improving disclosures for independent expenditures;
  • Public Financing of Local Elections HB1761 (Del. Simon) - Authorizing public financing of elections at the local level; and
  • Campaign Finance Limits: HB2701 (Del Bulova) .

Why is this letter-writing platform important? Your elected officials might not listen to just one or two of us alone, but together we are stronger. We need your voices!!

Fill in your information on the right side of the screen, a sample letter will be provided. The targeted legislators will be listed.
