We need all BUSD stakeholders to contact our Assemblymembers and State Senators to prioritize issuing Prop 98 settle-up funding, which could have a radical (positive!) impact on our budget targets. These funds are owed to our public schools, and without this money, our district will need to cut student-facing services. Releasing the funds would provide the funding (that is already owed) to recall pink slips, especially for our classified employees who work with our kids. Please send this email to your representatives now so that all California students can have the education they deserve!
