We are calling for Governor Kathy Hochul to remove Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley from office.

Her flagrant abuse of power as “THE DA” and her unethical, belligerent behavior demonstrates her poor judgement and fundamental belief that she’s unaccountable to the systems she prosecutes others within. How can someone who believes she’s above the law be permitted to enforce them?

Doorley fled from a traffic stop, called the Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier for support, and made it home safely to her family and her dog. If she is not removed or forced to resign, all Monroe County residents should be permitted to drive home instead of obeying traffic stops, without the threat of violence or consequences.

When Sandra Doorley declared herself above the law, she lost her legitimacy to continue as Monroe County’s District Attorney. Furthermore, Doorley lied to the public about what took place during the traffic stop, demonstrating that she lacks integrity.

Join community members in demanding that Governor Hochul remove Doorley from office, and send a clear message that corruption by elected officials will not be tolerated.
