Dave Upthegrove was elected on a promise of 77,000 acres of Legacy Forest being protected. His day one action was a pause not a moratorium and when he last month had a press conference to announce permanent protection of 77,000 acres it came with a map riddled with mistakes that protected only some of that 77,000 and has placed 29,000 - and some of the best - back on the auction list for logging.

We want the Commissioner to know this is a broken promise, the map must be fixed and the last 5% of Legacy Forest in State Lands must be preserved for real.
