On February 10th Lurie Children’s Hospital suspended Gender Affirming surgeries for all Transgender patients under the age of 19, capitulating to a Trump Administration executive order that suspended federal funds for Gender Affirming Care for trans people under the age of 19.

It's nearly five months later, and Lurie Children’s Hospital still refuses to provide all forms of gender affirming care to patients that need it, despite courts blocking Trump’s EO.

No person should be denied healthcare. No hospital should follow political dictates based on bigotry.
