The Royal Society of Arts has been found guilty of breaking the law by firing an employee for trade union activity.

Ruth Hannan was dismissed from her role as Head of Policy and Participation on 10 October 2022 after speaking out about the hypocrisy of Andy Haldane’s management of the RSA in the press.

A few weeks ago, amidst the ongoing campaign for Fair Pay at the RSA, a judge finally ruled that Ruth's dismissal was illegal.
