SAG-AFTRA, alongside our partners in the Entertainment Union Coalition, has been working with lawmakers in Sacramento to ensure that any increase to the state’s film and TV tax credit program is focused on creating and sustaining good middle class jobs. Our efforts have resulted in draft legislation that we feel will be most effective in helping get our members back to work. As the legislation now moves to the legislature, we need your help.

We are asking you to submit letters of support for AB 1138 and SB 630 to key Chair & Committee members for a critical hearing on April 28th in Sacramento.

It is critical that labor show a united front in our push for this important legislation. Making your voice heard will be a key driver to build support among the committee chairs currently considering the legislation.
