Until very recently, Santa Clara County has had tens of millions invested in Chevron, an oil company which has directly profited off of environmental destruction in our communities and the genocide of Palestinians. It still has a $45 million bond in Caterpillar to this day, with Caterpillar's heavy machinery being used regularly to commit human rights abuses within Palestine. We want our County to adopt an ethical investment policy which will also protect Americans from surveillance at home in addition to Palestinians and our environment. Send a letter to Santa Clara County's Board of Supervisors demanding that they never again invest in companies complicit in genocide, environmental damage, and human rights violations abroad and at home!
