Better staffing means better food! Valued kitchen staff at Madison Metro high schools are being "reallocated" to other locations in a hail Mary attempt to increase student participation in the food programs at middle and elementary schools. This will not solve the problem; it only moves it around.

High schools are already short staffed as our public schools are under constant pressure to cut cut cut. Kitchen staff, teachers, and students are taking a stand for the schools our students deserve by demanding MMSD retain experienced staff in the high schools and work with frontline workers, students and parents to find real solutions.
