Save Slow Lake Street
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Slow Lake Street has been a refuge. It keeps us healthy, active and safe. It lets us enjoy safe walking and exercising outdoors with minimal disruption to our quality of life. It's a place for kids, pets and families.
While Slow Lake Street was approved by the SFMTA Board in August, a vocal minority seeks to overturn the approval and take Lake Street back to the way it was before COVID. This would be bad for traffic safety, and would deprive neighbors and children of a safe space to travel to work, school, and home.
