The Bernard Community Center is a beacon of unity and fellowship in the local communities of Fayette County and Mason, TN. In 2023, Fayette County shuttered the Bernard Community Center. The center was once a place of vitality for the community holding programming for young people, families and community members that spanned from graduation ceremonies to repasts to youth programming and formerly a polling location. But, local residents are fighting back and trying to save the Bernard Community Center and put it back in the hands of the community.
