Time is running out to stop Bill C-9 from being passed into law.

The Liberal government is working with the Conservatives and the Bloc to pass legislation - Bill C-9 - that criminalizes protest with up to 10 years in prison if protestors are accused of having intent to "invoke fear" when protesting outside a long list of protected buildings. It also criminalizes symbols that could be seen to resemble symbols used by groups on Canada's politicized, secretive listing of terrorist entities.

And now, Conservatives are looking to add amendments from Bill C-257 which they have said they will use to further criminalize Palestine solidarity. We cannot allow Canadian laws to undermine Charter rights to protect the State of Israel’s interests.
