Say NO to Turning Point USA in Tampa!
The City of Tampa is hosting Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit this July at our publicly owned Convention Center.
This is not just a conference. This is an extremist rally disguised as education.
Turning Point USA is a group that glorifies authoritarian leaders, spreads disinformation, attacks teachers, and fuels the very book bans and curriculum censorship threatening Florida classrooms today.
They are not here to teach. They are here to radicalize.
The fact that this city is allowing a group like TPUSA to rent our Convention Center - paid for with our tax dollars - is not neutral. It’s endorsement. And it’s unacceptable.
We are asking you today to:
Publicly condemn the Turning Point summits;
Commit to reviewing the Convention Center’s event policies to prevent public venues from being weaponized by hate groups;
And stand with Tampa’s educators, parents, and students, not with far-right propaganda.
Tampa should be a safe, inclusive city - not a platform for fascism in a suit.
