Scotland says no to Disturbed band playing gigs while backing bombs.

By July 10, 2024, the Lancet reported over 37,396 people to have been killed by Israel's assault and genocide on Gaza, with a high proportion of this number being children.

As of July 3, 2025, this had risen to over 57,645 Palestinians reported killed in Gaza (Gaza Health Ministry) as well as 180 journalists and media workers, 120 academics and over 224 humanitarian aid workers, a number that includes 179 employees of UNRWA.

There is no doubt among experts that this number is much, much higher, with forced starvation adding to the death and destruction already caused by indiscriminate bombing.

Despite this, Disturbed lead singer David Draiman, in his own words, is a "very strong supporter of Israel". Last year in June he even proudly posted photographs of himself in Israel, signing bombs destined for the people of Gaza. The murder of innocent men, women, children and babies is something he backs unreservedly.

This kind of genocide supporting hate cannot be allowed to be platformed in Scotland. We cannot allow ourselves, our sports and our culture to be used as a means to normalise genocide. Demand he is banned!
