The University of Ottawa has suspended medical resident Dr.Yipeng Ge, for his posts in support of Palestinian human rights after racist professor, @yonifreedhoff, wrote a blog post harassing him. In 2023, Dr. Ge earned his Masters of Public Health degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences at Harvard University. He is a beloved member of our Harvard Community, and we stand behind him.

Here's what you can do:

1. Use this form to send a personal email to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in support of Dr. Ge. A template email is provided for you.

2. Sign on to this Harvard University group letter to @uottawa to demand that Dr. Yipeng be reinstated and Yoni Freedhoff (@yonifreedhoff) be investigated for student intimidation. Fill out the form, and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine will get an update each time there is a new sign on. Your name will be listed publicly.

3. Sign the public change.org petition in support of Dr. Ge.
