Scotland Women’s football team are due to play Israel in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, despite representing a nation which has spent the last two years committing a horrific genocide, numerous war crimes (as confirmed by the ICC and Amnesty International) and continuously violating the ceasefire agreement to commit hundreds more murders. With the home game to take place in Scotland, we have a moral duty to oppose this sportswashing of genocide.

This letter calls upon SFA officials, the Scotland Women’s coach and the First Minister to make sure that this game does not take place and to use their powers to ensure UEFA and FIFA ban Israel from international football, as is well overdue.
