NHS England knows that its new guidance on single sex accommodation will harm patients. Despite claims of "privacy, dignity and safety" their own Equality and Health Impact Assessment is full of the harms that trans people may now face on their next hospital visit. The assessment acknowledges the negative impacts on health including the fact trans people may avoid healthcare.
