As Ohioans, we are invested in having schools where professors are empowered to teach students about diverse and political concepts within the protections of academic freedom and critical discussion--- censoring curriculums and dictating how professors should be doing their jobs is not the answer, nor is erasing meaningful concepts like race, culture, and identity. SB 83 is also an attack on workers' rights, blocking the ability of university employees including professors to strike and effectively collectively bargain. This bill will hurt our schools, attack our professors, and cost our students an honest education where critical thinking is not dismissed as "too controversial."  Send emails to Ohio legislators to show your opposition to SB 83!
