High Park should be a natural refuge from the stresses of city life – a healthy environment where people can enjoy the park free of motor traffic and the accompanying air pollution, noise and threat of injury.

On May 10, 2023, City Council passed a motion committing to a car-free future for High Park. We ask the City of Toronto to act on this commitment and create a clean, safe and more sustainable High Park by making it permanently car-free.
