Sign and send a petition to your member of the House of Representatives, urging them to support legal action to force the Trump administration to fully release of the Epstein file in compliance with the law
The Trump administration is dragging its feet on the release of the Epstein files in accordance with The Epstein Files Transparency Act. The Department of Justice has still failed to release millions of files, as is required by the law.
Numerous members of Congress are preparing actions to hold the Trump administration accountable and force the release of all files. These actions include Senate legislation from Sen. Chuck Schumer that would initiate legal action to force the full release of the files. In the House, the original sponsors of the legislation to release the Epstein files, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khnna (D-CA) have begun a push to hold the Trump administration in "inherent contempt" for their failure to release all of the files.
As Matt Kerbel explained on the Wolves and Sheep, the Substack associated with Bowers News Media, inherent contempt "is a mechanism Congress can use to force administration compliance with its actions without having to go through the court system. If either House were to find the attorney general and/or her deputies to be in contempt of Congress, it has the authority—which has been affirmed by the courts—to impose a fine on the offending parties or imprison them until they comply."
Please, take a moment to sign and send a petition to your member of the House of Representatives, urging them to support legal action, including inherent contempt, until all of the Epstein files are released in accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. It is time for the Trump administration to comply with the law.
