On September 4, 2025, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced a bipartisan grilling on the Senate Finance Committee. Not only did 11 Democrats on the committee call for Kennedy to resign, but three of the Republicans on the panel also had some pretty harsh words for him.

Here is Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso, the second ranking Republican in the U.S. Senate:
“I support vaccines. I’m a doctor. Vaccines work,” said Barrasso, the Senate’s No. 2-ranking Republican leader.

“Secretary Kennedy, in your confirmation hearings, you promised to uphold the highest standards for vaccines,” he said. “Since then, I’ve grown deeply concerned.”
Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana:
Cassidy declined to say after the hearing whether he still has “confidence” in Kennedy’s ability to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

“I will let the exchange today speak for itself,” he said.
Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina:
“I do also believe that some of your statements seem to contradict what you said in the prior hearing. You said you’re going to empower the scientists at HHS to do their job — I’d just like to see evidence where you’ve done that,” Tillis said.(...)

The North Carolina senator said Kennedy’s decision to fire [CDC Director Susan] Monarez, to cancel mRNA research contracts, and to fire all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices was “contradictory” to his pledge to senators earlier this year “not to impose” his “beliefs” about vaccines on the nation’s health agencies.

Tillis aired his concerns about Kennedy’s leadership in a long statement delivered at the hearing and said he would follow up by submitting questions for the record to Kennedy and his staff.
With this many Republicans speaking out against him, it seems pretty clear at this point that RFK Jr. no longer commands the confidence of the majority of the U.S. Senate.

This form allows you to capitalize on RFK Jr.'s weakness in the U.S. Senate by making it possible for you to send a letter to your U.S. senators, letting them know that you support calls for RFK Jr. to resign over his endangerment of public health. The letter thanks senators who have already called on RFK Jr. to resign, and urges those who have not to speak up. Here is the text of the pre-written letter I have prepared:
Subject: I support calls for RFK Jr. to resign as Secretary of Health and Human Services
