South Tacoma Residents Deserve a Health Impact Assessment for Proposed Mega Warehouse

Please help uplift calls for a comprehensive Health Impact Assessment for a proposed 2.5 million square foot warehouse in South Tacoma by writing to the Tacoma City Council and Mayor today.

This mega-warehouse would be placed in one of our city’s most overburdened areas, bringing thousands of diesel trucks into neighborhoods that already face environmental injustice and disproportionate health burdens. Despite multiple local, state and federal agencies calling on the City of Tacoma to require a Health Impact Assessment for this project, the City has not committed to studying the project’s cumulative health impacts.
