Pass Rent Stabilization

Excessive rent increases are driving people out of their homes and communities while increasing homelessness. Annual rent and fee increases should be limited to no more than 7% for existing tenants and manufactured homeowners. This will provide much needed stability to tenants and still allow landlords to make repairs, keep up with costs, and make a profit.

Legislators have the opportunity to pass rent stabilization this year and keep families, students, and seniors on fixed incomes from being driven out of their homes due to an excessive rent increase. Washington Representatives have passed rent stabilization out of the House, and it is now up to the Senate to make rent stabilization law. Join us in urging your senators to pass rent stabilization.
