Tell Congress and the President to Reinvest in U.S. Humanitarian Aid

One year since the administration’s cuts to U.S. humanitarian aid, the deadly impacts continue to grow. 14 million people could die by 2030 due to these reckless decisions.

The Administration’s decimation of lifesaving aid has left millions of people around the world without food, clean water, health care, and other basic support. People are dying right now, because of these actions.

Thanks to supporters like you, alongside the Alliance for American Leadership and partners, Congress recently passed a bipartisan bill to reinvest billions in aid—a critical step forward, even if it only represents a fraction of what is needed.

But millions of people are still facing urgent, life‑threatening needs after a year of devastating cuts. We must ensure that lifesaving programs are safeguarded and expanded.

International assistance has long been one of the most effective, bipartisan tools the U.S. has to reduce global poverty, provide clean water and food, expand access to health care and education, and respond to disasters. And for decades, it made up just 1 percent of the federal budget—before the Administration slashed it.

Add your name: Tell U.S. leaders to continue reinvesting in humanitarian aid, before more lives are lost.
