Stand With California Tribes for Water Rights: Pass AB 2218

California Tribes are calling for action on AB 2218 — and we’re asking you to stand with them.

Women for Wolves is proud to stand alongside our partners at @shinglespringsrancheria, the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, in advocating for AB 2218 and supporting Tribal leadership in decisions affecting California’s water, lands, and ecosystems.

Co-sponsored by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and the Karuk Tribe, AB 2218 would help address longstanding inequities affecting California Native American Tribes in state water policy and ensure Tribal interests are meaningfully considered in decisions affecting water.

AB 2218 is headed to the California Senate floor. Now is the time to act.

Use this form to contact your State Senator and urge them to VOTE YES on AB 2218.

It takes less than two minutes to make your voice heard.

Stand with California Tribes. Support Tribal water rights. Tell the California Senate: PASS AB 2218.
