Steelworkers, Defend Fair Representation in Indiana!

Indiana lawmakers are once again pushing an unprecedented mid-decade redistricting plan at the request of the Presidential Administration, even though the maps were already updated after the 2020 Census. On Monday, December 1, 2025, Indiana House leadership brought lawmakers back to take up a new congressional map, and they’re expected to pass it. After passage, the proposal will head to the Indiana Senate for a vote. The Senate is where there is a chance stop this push that puts political interests ahead of fair representation, weakens workers’ voices, wastes taxpayer dollars, and undermines trust in our democratic process.
