We continue our #SMASHTHEMATCH campaign to CANCEL THE AICHI-ISRAEL MATCHING PROGRAM! This week we direct our demands to ProDrone and Acompany, the latest companies matching with genocidal Israel.
Prodrone manufactures drones to supposedly "Prevent Disasters, Protect Lives, Provide Communities". But the focus on disaster relief obscures the reality that Isrli drone technology and development is deeply linked to the weapons industry and Isrli military. Japan wants this technology to manufacture and produce its own killer drones.
Acompany is a self described "privacy tech" company that does private data analysis and "confidential computing." We know that Isrl relies on AI, cloud data storage, and privacy computing to surveil, control, and murder Palestinians. Workers at Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and other tech conglomorates have been organizing against the use of AI and data technologies as tools of genocide (see notechforapartheid.com for more).
With this email we are still letting EVERYONE know we are not okay with the normalisation of death & destruction in Aichi -- Governor Omura, the Asian Games, the Aichi Prefectural offices, the Aichi Triennial, and now, the companies themselves who are COLLABORATING with the apartheid zionist entity. The Mother's group has now turned in multiple petitions with thousands of signatures. The Aichi Triennale (open through November), which features Palestinian artists, continues to be shamefully sponsored by Obayashi Corporation, which is complicit in the occupation of Okinawa through the construction of the Henoko base. Fearlessly opposed by local community, the new base construction site also uses Innoviz vehicle vision technology from the apartheid zionist entity.

More about the Aichi-Israel Matching Program
Since 2022, the Aichi Prefectural Government in Japan has partnered with the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) & Startup Nation Central (SNC) to promote collaborations between ‘Israeli’ startups and companies in Aichi.
Despite 22 months of non-stop genocidal war crimes and calls by the local community to cancel this program, this collaboration is belligerently pushing forward to "integrate Israeli cutting-edge technology" into Japan's manufacturing region.
The Aichi government is normalizing the world’s first AI-powered genocide and tech-driven Apartheid and willfully turning its businesses and workers into genocide collaborators. We must refuse this "innovation-washing” of the genocide of Palestine!
As reported in the recent Albanese report on corporate complicity in the genocide: "Israeli tech firms often grow out of military infrastructure and strategy." Israel notoriously innovates new weapons and surveillance to kill, maim, monitor, control, and experiment on Palestinians and export worldwide. This program is a deadly fusion of Israel’s immoral, genocidal tech industry with some of the most advanced manufacturers in the world, many of which have barely washed their hands of the bloody profits of Japan’s own imperialist wars.
In FY2024 alone, 58 million yen (approximately US$370,000) in prefectural taxpayers’ money was invested in the Aichi-Israel Matching Program. However, Israel's ongoing occupation and military actions against Palestine have been condemned by the international community, and these projects are fraught with serious ethical issues.
Nevertheless, Aichi Prefecture is continuing this project in FY2025 despite the submission of 20,000 protest signatures from citizens’ groups calling for its cancellation.

Prodroneは「災害防止・人命保護・地域支援」を掲げてドローンを製造しています。しかし災害救援に焦点を当てることで、イスラエルのドローン技術開発が兵器産業と軍と深く結びついている現実が隠蔽されています。日本はこの技術を用いて自国の殺人ドローンを製造・生産しようとしています。
Acompanyは自らを「プライバシーテック」企業と称し、個人データ分析と「機密コンピューティング」を手がける。イスラエルがAI、クラウドデータストレージ、プライバシーコンピューティングをパレスチナ人の監視・支配・殺害に利用しているのは周知の事実だ。マイクロソフト、グーグル、アマゾン等のテック企業従業員は、AIとデータ技術がジェノサイドの道具として使われることに反対する運動を展開している（詳細はnotechforapartheid.com参照）。
