I am writing to you to demand that Canada impose an arms embargo on Israel immediately. The International Court of Justice has found that there is plausible evidence of Israel committing genocide in Gaza. Canada must uphold the court's decision and stop arming and abetting this genocide.

We have witnessed horrific war crimes and acts of ethnic cleansing, resulting in the deaths of more than 30,000 Palestinians - half of whom are children. The arms Canada is currently supplying to Israel with my tax dollars are causing this ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Our government must stop Canadian weapons sales to Israel that are used against Palestinians. I do not want my tax dollars to be used against Palestinians. I do not want my tax dollars to be used to purchase or fund weapons for Israel. As my representative in the government, I will be looking to you to work on placing an arms embargo on Israel.

Voters will remember how you acted in the face of genocide. This issue is important to my community and will sway our votes - if you stay on the wrong side of this issue and do not represent us, we will actively campaign against you and vote you out.
